The liberalised energy market affords consumers a variety of advantages such as cheaper energy prices, alternative suppliers and better service by the companies as a result of competition. Quite a few things have changed and some might seem a little complicated – up until recently energy was supplied to you without you having to take care of anything whereas now consumers are active market participants.
